About the producer: Tenuta Montauto

Tenuta Montauto is located in one of the wildest and unspoiled corners of Tuscany’s Maremma. Owner Riccardo Lepri took over the estate after his grandfather Enos in 2001. Working alongside winemaker Fabrizio Moltard, they selected grapes that gave the best results on the land and decided to focus mainly on producing white wines, unusual for the region. Following an organic approach they make delicate wines with concentrated flavours that started to generate interest amongst critics. The hare present on the label is related to Riccardo’s surname Lepri, meaning hare in Italian.  View our selection.
