Muscat de Beaumes de Venise is produced in South Rhone Valley. Beaumes in old French means cellar and Venise comes from the name of the province it is made in; The Comptat Venaissin. The grapes are grown across the Dentelles de Montmirail, protected from the wind, under the Chapoutier expertise. Only ripe grapes are picked, meaning several picking per plot are necessary.
