About the producer: Château Lafon Rochet
Lafon Rochet has a great location, adjacent to Lafite Rotshchild and Cos d’Estournel in Saint Estephe. Since the Tesseron family, who’s member Alfred is in charge of Château Pontet Canet, took over in 1959, the quality of the wine has improved a lot. Since 2007 Basile Tesseron, alongside is father Michel, have been managing the estate and started to work following organic practice. The 2016 vintage will be the first one to be 100% organically farmed. Later harvest and higher use of new oak has made the wine from Lafon Rocher more powerful and they are today getting more attention. View our selection.
