The house of Paul Herard, situated in the Aube, was founded in 1925 and is well known for its Blanc de Noir Champagne. Finding it impossible to expand in their own area, they purchase base wines from a wide variety of French regions in order to capture the specific flavours and profiles desired and produce elegant sparkling wines. Philippe Herard has found new home in Burgundy’s Cote d’Or and make his wine from traditional method. Many different grape varieties are employed, each carefully selected because they contribute something special to the final blend.
