The Voillot family have grown vines for five generations and has a big footprint, south of Beaune, with thirty two parcels in some of the finest vineyards, all under the benevolent control of Joseph Voillot’s son-in-law, Jean Pierre Charlot.
Deep red in colour. Aromas of raspberry, clove and tea. Soft, round and rich on the palate with notes of cherry, raspberry, redcurrant and baking spices and a long finish. – DWM, December 2016
