    About the producer: Quarles Harris

Founded in 1680 by Thomas Dawson, Quarles Harris has built a solid reputation as a Port shipper in the late 18th century, being the second largest shipper at the time. It remained in family hands until the 1920’s, when owner Reginald Quarles Harris sold it to his cousin’s husband, Andrew James Symington. Quarles Harris is a trading name and has no vineyards of its own but their Vintage Ports are sourced from excellent quintas and use modern techniques to produce structured and sturdy wines that can age very well.
