The only wine produced at Quinta do Avelino. Made with 100% Treixadura, a white grape variety found in the Ribeiro region, the wine is fermented at cold temperature in order to keep the aromatic concentration at its most pure and is then aged on its lees.
Crisp lemon and lime citrus flavours with mineral notes and a hint of delicate white flowers. A very elegant wine with great acidity and long finish. Awarded COMMENDED MEDAL at Sommelier Wine Awards 2017.

Named in honour of the oenologist’s grandfather, Avelino, Quinta do Avelino was created. The family’s history of wine making goes back more than a hundred years with the fourth generation now in charge. Their only wine is made from 100% Treixadura, a white grape variety found in the Ribeiro region, grown on nearly three hectares cultivated naturally and hand harvested. The grape must is drawn and fermented and very low temperatures to keep the aromatic concentration at its most pure and is then aged on the lees.
