James and Ann Frost settled on the estate, located in the cool hill inland from Lisbon just 12km from the Atlantic, in 1992 and produced their first wines in 2004.
Hand-picked grapes are crushed (a proportion by traditional foot treading in Lagares) and macerated before allowing natural yeasts to begin the fermentation. Aged in old French oak barrels for 12 months. Fresh, round and elegant Pinot Noir with intense aromas of pure cherry and berry fruit and hint of meatiness and spices. Good complexity and a refreshing, elegant finish.
Portuguese still red wine from Lisboa Portugal, made with Pinot Noir. Vegetarian and Vegan.
