Product description
Miguel Merino created his own winery in a restored farmhouse where he built a small vinification plant and barrel-ageing cellar. He started to buy grapes grown on small plots near Briones to produce well-made, modern wines and now owns and runs one of the smallest, youngest and most prestigious wineries in Spain.
Aged on its lees for 10 months. Intense aromas of citrus, pear, stone fruits and notes of brioche. Viura grapes from Mingortiz vineyard provides acidity and minerality while white Garnacha from La Loma adds complexity, body and depth to the wine.

Volumes were reduced by hail in 2020, unfortunately, so there will be less to go around. Fermented in 500-litre French oak, it's a cuvée of Viura with 5% Garnacha Blanca that has Sauvignon Blanc-like notes of nettle and wet stones, a focused, chiselled palate and nuanced patisserie spices. 2023-28
