Hand harvested. Grapes from vines over 35 years old, planted in the highest areas of Rioja Alavesa, are cultivated in poor soils with excellent sun exposure. This combination results in full ripening while maintaining acidity. After hand selection, grapes are gently crushed. Must settles, ferments in new French oak casks, and small vats. Lees contact with weekly stirring enhances mouth-feel, shields from oxidation. Wine is fined, filtered, bottled without cold treatments. On the nose, aromas of apple, melon, and yellow plum with floral notes. On the palate, it is balanced and fresh, with a long finish.
