    Product description

Robert Sinskey owns vineyards in the Carneros and Stags Leap districts of Sonoma and Napa Valleys of which over 200 acres are certified organic and biodynamic. His aim is to produce pure wines of character that pair well with food and evolve in the glass and in the bottle.

Fruity yet restrained, this Cabernet Franc has aromas and flavours of mulberries, blueberries and/or violets backed by leather and peat. The wine is full and complex with youthful tannin and a great mouthfeel. With decanting, this can be enjoyed now or age for another 2-5 years to see how it progresses.

American still red wine from Napa Valley in California USA made with Cabernet Franc.

  • About the producer

About the producer: Robert Sinskey Winery

Robert Sinskey started his career as a vintner when assisting his dad in his winegrowing venture. He became obsessed with it and in 1991, alongside winemaker Jeff Virnig, Robert had converted over 200 acres of premium vineyards into organic and biodynamic culture. The vineyards are located in the Carneros and Stags Leap districts of Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Rob’s philosophy that “Wine is not an athletic event,” still holds true to this day. The goal is to make “pure wines of character that pair well with cuisine.” Rob believes that wine should not be a “quick study,” but rather, sneak up on you, seduce you, and evolve in the glass and in the bottle.
