Robert Sinskey owns vineyards in the Carneros and Stags Leap districts of Sonoma and Napa Valleys of which over 200 acres are certified organic and biodynamic. His aim is to produce pure wines of character that pair well with food and evolve in the glass and in the bottle.
Fruity yet restrained, this Cabernet Franc has aromas and flavours of mulberries, blueberries and/or violets backed by leather and peat. The wine is full and complex with youthful tannin and a great mouthfeel. With decanting, this can be enjoyed now or age for another 2-5 years to see how it progresses. – DWM, October 2017.
