Established in the 14th Century, the Crociani cellars are today run by 4th generation family winemaker Susanna Crociani. She draws on a lifetime of experience to craft this complex wine from vineyards surrounding the beautiful hill top town of Montepulciano.
Rosso is the little brother of Vino Nobile di Montepuliciano and has plenty of soft ripe red fruits with a hint of sour cherry. A back drop of vanilla and smooth tannins round of the palate nicely.

The 10 hectares of vineyards are planted with 75% Prugnolo Gentile, 15% Canaiolo Nero and the rest with Mammolo and white varieties. Their Vino Nobile is aged in the 14th century cellars in the upper part of the old centre of Montepulciano.
They produce four DOC wines; Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Rosso di Montepulciano, Vin Santo di Montepulciano and Chianti Colli Senesi. They also make four IGT wines; Rosso d’Arnaldo and Caggiolino Rosato, Rosso and Bianco
