Citrus and biscuits on the nose with a hint of honey. The palate has crisp citrus aromas, followed by a slightly buttery texture. A great value white Burgundy from one of the regions top producers.
French still white wine from Cote de Beaune in Burgundy’s Cote d’Or (Bourgogne) France, made with Chardonnay.
Domaine Paul Pillot was established in 1858 by Jean-Baptiste Pillot. When his sons Alphonse and Henri (Paul Pillot’s father) turned 13 they took over the vineyard extending it and marketing wine in bottles. In 1947 Paul Pillot was born, and in 1968 he took over the vineyard. Today the Domaine is around 13 hectares and markets around 65,000 bottles. Thierry Pillot, Paul’s oldest son, now works alongside him, bringing a new perspective and renewed energy. The vineyards lie in the heart of Burgundy in Chassagne Montrachet, Saint Aubin and Santenay. Yields are controlled, fermentation is traditional, and the wines are matured in oak – up to 25% of which is new. View our range.
