    Product description

This small estates spreads over 16 hectares of vineyards planted on Portlandian and Kimmeridgian clay and flint soil. All parcels are vinified separately to add complexity to the wine.

Sourced from 40 years old vines, a small percentage of the wine was aged in used oak barrels. Floral and citrus aromas with a touch of minerality. Clean and crisp on the palate, this is a medium bodied wine with good length. A great value Sancerre!

  • About the producer

    About the producer: Domaine Daulny

Etienne Daulny owns 16 hectares of vines split between the limestone-chalk soils of Verdigny and the deeper, clay-limestone of Chaudenay. Vines are spread over 50 different plots that are vinify separately before the blend. Most of Daulny’s wine is fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and does not go under malolactic fermentation so it retains freshness and vibrancy. A small percentage of the wine is aged in used oak barrels in order to add complexity without tasting oaky.
