Product description
Using the same grape varieties as across the channel, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are grown on chalky soils in both countries and go through similar winemaking processes. Yet English sparklers taste slightly different. They tend to have a fresh apple crunchiness, fresher notes on the palate and more subtle toasty aromas. Could you spot the difference? We’ve selected three first-class examples from both regions. This case includes one bottle each of the following.
2016 Gusbourne Brut Reserve
Exton Park Brut Reserve nv
2014 Hoffmann & Rathbone Classic Cuvée
Duménil Grande Reserve 21 Brut nv
Pol Roger Brut nv – Davy’s 150th Anniversary Limited Edition
Louis Roederer Brut Premier nv
