Su Mere is sourced from a small vineyard benefitting from the cool sea breeze and lies on limestone and clay soils. Produced from late harvest Cannonau (also known as Grenache) grapes and matured in 70% new oak for 21 months. This is a big wine with generous ripe red and blackberry flavours alongside cinnamon, pepper and hints of herbs. A powerful yet velvety wine, the alcohol is well-balanced by the pleasantly grippy tannins and a vibrant backbone of acidity.
