Product description
Made by Antinori’s 26th generation of winemakers, Tignanello is one of the two iconic wines produced at the estate. It was also the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques and, the first red wine to be blended with non-traditional varieties in Chianti .
Aged 12 moonths in oak barrel this a rich, vibrant and complex Super-Tuscan wine with balanced tannins.
“Really pretty aromas of currants and roses follow through to a medium body, firm and silky tannins and a fresh finish. Very well done for 2014 and a wonderful Tignanello to drink now or later.” – 94pts James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com, February 2017
