Carmenere Gran Reserva is a single vineyard of 60 years old vines where only the best grapes are selected. 60% of the wine is aged in oak barrels for 10 to 12 months and an additional 6 months in bottle.
Juicy and full bodied with concentrated ripe blackberries alongside tobacco and spices. Velvety tannins and a lingering finish.
Chilean still red wine from Colchagua Valley Chile, made with Carmenere and Cabernet Sauvignon.
In 1995, Edward Tutunjian was on vacation in Chile and fell in love with both the country and its surprising wines. He then decided to acquire his first vineyard, La Pancora, located in the prestigious Curicó Valley. Later in order to produce a variety of wines he bought 5 more estates; Manantiales in San Antonio, Hacienda San Juan de Pirque & Huaquen Estate in Maule, Alpatagua and El Huaico in Cochagua.
