This month, we are showcasing the brilliant whites of Bordeaux. Famous for its outstanding red wines, this region is also home to stunning whites, both dry and sweet. Usually a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, chosen for its high acidity and fresh flavours of gooseberry and citrus; Semillon, adding weight and depth to the wine and Muscadelle for its flowery and grapey notes, they range from light, fresh and zesty to richer styles with intense and complex aromas and minerals.
