Meet the TEAM
Sam DipWSET – Shop Manager
Sam cultivated his deep love for wine while working and traveling through Australia, Samoa, and New Zealand. After managing a restaurant in Auckland, he embarked on a month-long journey across New Zealand, visiting countless vineyards. He brought his expertise to The Wine Shop in 2012, becoming Manager in 2014, and further solidified his knowledge by completing the WSET Diploma in Wine & Spirits in 2018.
Sam loves Northern Rhône reds specifically Cornas and all styles of Riesling, but notably those with racy acidity from the Mosel Valley in Germany. Aside from wine he has a small collection of white and dark rums at home.

Sadie – Sales Advisor
Sadie is WSET level 2 qualified and is currently studying for her WSET level 3 expanding her knowledge of the world’s wine regions, grape varieties and styles. With a love for helping people discover new favourites and finding the perfect bottle for every occasion, she has a particular soft spot for Riesling – where nothing beats its balance of freshness, elegance and versatility.
Outside of work, Sadie, as a former goldsmiths student, enjoys visiting art galleries with friends and exploring wine bars throughout London.
MEET THE TEAM
Serena – Sales Advisor
Currently studying for the WSET Diploma and French Wine Scholar, Serena enjoys learning about wine by talking with customers and hearing about their different preferences.
Outside of work, she enjoys visiting wine bars, listening to K-pop, and has a soft spot for Greek whites, Champagne, and the occasional dessert wine. Serena also loves dogs—she always says hello to every dog in the shop and sometimes shares photos of her adorable dog, Hongsi.
