Meet our new producer: Nardi Viticoltori

We are thrilled to introduce our new and exclusive Chianti’s from Nardi Viticoltori, located in the heart of the appellation and one of the region’s most promising producers. Family run and one of the youngest wineries in Chianti, they are being acclaimed by several important critics with highly-scored wines.

After gaining experience in some of Chianti’s best estates, brothers Giacomo and Angelo Nardi decided to produce their own wines from the family vines, just for fun. A few years on, their passion and hard work are paying off with their wines gaining international recognition.

THE VINEYARDS
Spread over 10 hectares of clay soils, they benefit from a southeast exposition enabling the grapes achieve full maturity and are located 300 above sea level helping to retain the acidity. Low yields and the proximity of the cellar mean the grapes have a great concentration of fruit and are pressed with no delay helping to retain their beautiful freshness.

THE WINES
They produce two traditional and refined Chianti Classico, including one Riserva, showcasing Sangiovese in its purest form. They also embrace the modernity with a generous blend of Sangiovese and Merlot named Baccheri, a homage to their ancestor.
