Product description
Hand harvested, yield is 10ton/ha in a high density plantation. The vineyard is located 25km from de Pacific Ocean and it was planted in 2012. Grapes are destemmed but not crushed. Fermentation takes place in small tanks at 26–28°C for seven days, followed by maceration. The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation and is aged for 10 months in 100% French oak barrels (225L, medium toast). Fresh nose, showcasing a delightful blend of ripe plum, cherry and notes of chocolate, toffee, and coffee. Its remarkable complexity unfolds on the palate, revealing a generous mouthfeel, silky tannins, and a lingering, persistent finish.

Juan Aurelio Muñoz only uses grapes from granite and sandstone soils to make this well structured cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon with 8% Malbec and 7% Carignan. Compact, dense and low-yielding, with masses of structure and concentration, graphite, mint and blueberry flavours and plenty of tannic backbone. 2025-32
