    Product description

    Rendez-Vous is a Premier Cru 0.90 ha vineyard with 40-year-old vines. The plots are ploughed, with harvesting done both manually and mechanically. Pneumatic pressing, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrel. Aged for 15 months: 50% in 1–4-year-old barrels on fine lees, and 50% in vats. Vibrant notes of ripe orchard fruits with hints of toasted almonds and subtle minerality. The palate is rich and textured, showcasing the depth of old vines, while a bright acidity provides balance and finesse with a long, lingering finish.

    Awards

    Bright and expressive mineral and citrus nose. Spicy oak notes overlay some tropical malo flavours. Great tension.

    This seven-hectare property lies on the steep slopes overlooking Solutré, one of the finest of all the Mâcon villages and the very core of the appellation. Antoine and Mathilde Sève, the current (and fifth) generation, apply rigorous standards in the vineyard and the cellar, following similar ideologies and production methods as seen at the top estates in the Côte de Beaune.

    SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
