Product description
Sister property of Ch. Calon Ségur, under the ownership of the Gasqueton family from 1894 until its sale in 2012, Ch. Capbern regularly performs above its status. The 38 hectares of vines are located over two sites; one neighbouring the vines of Ch. Calon Ségur while the other lies closer to the Gironde.
Very juicy and meaty with lively blackcurrant fruits and good minerality. The palate is complex and generous with good fruits concentration, velvety tannins and a great length. A classic St Estephe!
