The Catherine’s Block label is reserved for the very best wines from Mount Brown Vineyards in Waipara, North Canterbury. As well as superb fruit, the wine gains creamy lees notes from being barrel fermented, with wild yeasts, adding a smoky depth and complexity to the wine.
A rich and complex Sauvignon Blanc with tropical fruit and gooseberry flavours on the palate alongside hints of toasted bread. The wine is matured on its lees for 3 months, with no fining before bottling.
