‘Domaine Tortochot is one to put back on your list.’ – Neal Martin
Domaine Tortochot is a 19th century family-run estate that comprises of 12 hectares spread over 34 separate parcels. Chantal has been integral to its revival since taking the reins from her father in the late 1990s. Since then, she has adopted organic practices, which has seen the winery certified as fully organic in 2013. The results are wonderful, with wines that are seductive and pure, displaying elegance and freshness.
Following an aperitif of Davy’s Celebration Champagne, Chantal will talk you through the history of the winery. She’ll speak about how’s it’s developed over the years and the measures she is taking to adapt around climate change. You’ll taste through some of the estate’s finest wines, including two vintages of the stunning Charmes Chambertin, as well as 2017 Mazis Chambertin alongside a specially prepared four-course dinner with pairings.
