    Product description

    Grapes sourced from a 0.8-hectare lieu-dit ‘En Voluet’ in Beaujolais Cru Fleurie. The vines are aged between 20 and 40 years, with hand-harvesting and careful sorting at the winery. Hand harvested, mid age of 40 years. Traditional winemaking in stainless steel tanks, followed by further aging in the same vessel for 8 months. With an ageing potential of 4-6 years. A charming and elegant Fleurie Cru, exhibiting vibrant red fruit aromas of raspberry and wild strawberry, complemented by subtle floral notes of rose and violet. On the palate, it offers liveliness and refreshment, with a silky texture and bright acidity.

    About the producer: Château de Durette

    When visiting the Beaujolais, Jean Foly fell in love with an old and charming building in Régnié-Durette and saw the potential to start his own wine project. In 2006, he invested in Château de Durette and tripled the surface of the estate, adding some of the most prestigious appellations of the region. Helped by some very reliable oenologists, Jean now produces top quality wine under most Beaujolais cru AOC including Morgon, Régnié, Côte de Brouilly, Chénas, Juliénas and Moulint à Vent.     SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
