Product description
Located in Pessac-Léognan and owned by Brenda and Lochlann Quinn. Those two Irish wine lovers have hired Stephen Carrier as winemaker and consult Hubert de Bouärd, owner of Château Angélus. Working alongside organic principle, their goal is to continue the technical improvements in winemaking and vine growing, while retaining the essence of the wine of Graves.
A classic Graves with black raspberries and blackcurrants aromas alongside mineral, tobacco and smoky notes. Full-bodied yet delicate with a wonderful freshness and length.
Very intense red-plum and dark-fleshed peach aromas, plus a hint of pomegranate, make this generous, well-structured Pessac-Léognan red very attractive. However, the full, moderately dry tannins need some time to resolve. Better from 2021, but with a long future ahead of it.
