Product description
Grapes sourced from Castellina in Chianti, situated at an altitude of 250 to 280 meters above sea level. The training method used is Guyot, with the first vineyard plantings dating back to 2000. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel for 12 days, followed by additional maceration on the skins for 15 days. The wine is then aged for 10 months in large Slovenian, Tuscan, and French oak barrels, with a further 6 months of ageing in the bottle. Nice complexity on the nose with aromas of raspberry and cherry alongside spicy and violet notes. Medium to full-bodied with soft tannins and a ripe and fresh finish.
