    Product description

    Vines that are 40 years old, planted in an 8-hectare vineyard in Languedoc. Hand-harvested. The grapes are destemmed and traditionally fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve primary fruit. Naturally selected yeast is used. Medium-bodied on the palate with a delicate nose of wild strawberry with hints of pepper and garrigue herbs. Think ‘Languedoc Pinot’!

    This 100% Cinsault from 40 years old vines is packed full of wild strawberry, redcurrant and a pout-pourri of garrigue herbs. A much more serious wine than the fun label suggests.

    About the producer: Clos des Nines

    At the end of the 90s, Isabelle Mangeart settled in the Languedoc seduced by its strong identity, history, landscapes, and wine culture.  After enrolling in a Viticulture & Oenology course in Montpellier, she gained experience working alongside vine-growers and winemakers. Isabelle now owns 8 hectares of vines surrounded by dry stone walls and nestled on hills near Montpellier. Certified organic since 2013, only organic compost and no chemicals are used. Red grape varieties are planted on clay-limestone soils which preserve the acidity of the grapes. White grapes grow on silty-sandy soils which allow good water drainage.

    SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
