Product description
Located in the Macedon Ranges, south of Victoria, Curly Flat benefits from the coolest vineyards in mainland Australia, ideal for growing early ripening grapes. All wines are fermented with natural yeasts.
Matured for 20 months in French oak barrels (20% new). Aromas of red berries interlacing with darker fruits, roasted quinces and sweet cinnamon, alongside hints of fresh tobacco leaves. Medium-bodied on the palate with concentrated fruit flavours, soft tannins and a lingering finish.
Sultry dark cherry and dried herb aromas give way to an ample palate, generously imbued with a smoked meat intensity. Sleek and voluptuous with a cleansing acidity and finish.
