    Product description

    Located in the Macedon Ranges, south of Victoria, Curly Flat benefits from the coolest vineyards in mainland Australia, ideal for growing early ripening grapes. All wines are fermented with natural yeasts.

    Matured for 20 months in French oak barrels (20% new). Aromas of red berries interlacing with darker fruits, roasted quinces and sweet cinnamon, alongside hints of fresh tobacco leaves. Medium-bodied on the palate with concentrated fruit flavours, soft tannins and a lingering finish.

    Sultry dark cherry and dried herb aromas give way to an ample palate, generously imbued with a smoked meat intensity. Sleek and voluptuous with a cleansing acidity and finish.

    About the producer: Curly Flat

    Located in the Macedon Ranges, south of Victoria, Curly Flat was founded by Phillip Moraghan and Jenifer Kolkka in 1989. Benefitting from the coolest vineyards in mainland Australia, the 14 hectares of vines are ideal for growing early ripening grapes. The vineyard is planted with Pinot Noir (69%), Chardonnay (26%), and Pinot Gris (5%). Following sustainable practice, they no longer use herbicides. All wines are fermented with natural yeasts.

    Returns

    SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
