    Only wine that meets our exacting standards are bottled with the Davy family name on. James Davy and the wine team will either ask producers to blend wine to a specific style, or taste many samples until they are completely satisfied that the wine chosen is indicative of its appellation, and is the very best it can be for the price point.

    Davy’s Rioja Crianza is sourced from 20-year-old vineyards, barrel fermented and matured for 14 months in American oak. Aromas of ripe black fruit alongside spicy, herbal and toasty notes. Medium to full-bodied on the palate with ripe blackcurrant, strawberry and wonderfully grippy tannins. Well-balanced with concentrated fruit and spice to the finish.

    This Bodega dates back to 1882 when D. Felipe Ugalde named it after himself, but in 1921 it took the name Rioja Vega. Following Felipe’s dream, the estate is developed according to the ‘chateaux’ concept with 70 hectares of vineyards surrounding the cellars. In a constant search to make the best out of their various terroirs, the team is always keen to experiment with new technology.  With a modern fruit-driven style, their classic range – Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva – has established the winery’s signature style and has become their most iconic wines.

    Returns

    SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
