En Primeur Chateau Kirwan 2016 is now available for sale.
Château Kirwan, a 3ème Cru Classé Margaux, spreads over 35 hectares of vineyards in Cantenac. It has been owned by the négociant firm, Schröder and Schÿlerbeen since 1925 and has regained its reputation since the 1990s, when Michel Rolland started consulting at the estate. The Chateau now produces wines that are richer, fuller and with more depth and complexity.
“A fresh and clean wine with currant and wet-earth character. Medium body and a medium finish” – 88-89pts, James Suckling April 2017
“Dark purplish crimson. Some freshness on the nose with a hint of ink and pencils. A certain ‘mineral’ scent. A very slight green note but not bad at all, and certainly not forced. Real Margaux charm. Lift and pleasure in a dry idiom.” Drink 2026-2042 – 17 Jancis Robinson MW, April 2017
Offered for sale ‘En Primeur’, in bond. Price shown is per case (12x75cl bottles) and excludes UK duty and VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate when the wine lands in the UK.
