Located 11 kilometres from the centre of Bordeaux in the appellation of Pessac-Leognan, Château Olivier dates back to the Middle Ages. The 55 hectares of gravelly terroir are planted with 45 hectares of red grapes; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The average age of vines is 20 years old for and the wines ared aged for 12 months in oak barrel of which a third is new.
