En Primeur Chateau Pontet Canet 2016 is available ON ALLOCATION. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to enquire re availability
Château Pontet Canet‘s vineyard is ideally positioned right opposite Mouton Rothschild. The quality has varied through time but, since 1994 Alfred Tesseron has been in charge of the Domaine, and Pontet Canet is now one of the new great wines from Bordeaux and has garnered a lot of attention. The wines are fermented with natural yeasts and age on average 12-18 months in oak (40-60% new) before bottling.
The 2016 vintage has released at a stellar price (reflecting stellar scores from the critics). Representing an increase of around a third on the 2015 vintage, time will tell if the price is deserved. It certainly makes Pontet Canet 2015 seem good value – please mail email@example.com if you would like more information on availability of the 2015.
