Product description
En Primeur Château Prieuré-Lichine will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
Château Prieuré-Lichine, previously Château Le Prieuré until Alexis Lichine purchased the property in 1951 and renamed it in 1953, has over 77 hectares under vine across Margaux and Cantenac. Some of the most fragmented plots of any Bordeaux Chateaux, investment in the winery has meant that since 2013, they are able to vinify the wines on a plot-by-plot basis, enabling very strict selection from vintage to vintage. The Chateau was purchased in 1999 by the Ballande groupe, a successful Bordeaux negociant, who brought in Bordeaux ace consultant Stephane Derenoncourt, who has overseen a tremendous rise in quality over the last decade, as well as a huge project replanting many of the vineyards.
En Primeur pricing is per case as specified and excludes UK duty and VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate when the wine is released from bond for delivery. Bonded storage is available. Onward delivery or transfer is not included and can be quoted for on request. Free delivery on orders over £100 does not apply to bonded or en primeur wines.
