Product description
En Primeur Gigondas Romane Machotte Pierre Amadieu will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
Founded in 1929 when Pierre Amadieu made the decision to bottle wine under his own name, which was coming from 7 hectares of vines in Gigondas, which had been passed on by generation to generation. The ambition is to obtain well-balanced wines with a Burgundy finesse. Through the ageing they try to reveal all the elegance and richness of our protected terroirs, located on the heights of the appellation Gigondas.
Sourced from deeply rooted on the hillsides of the family estate and aged for 12 months in foudres and barrels. Aromas of black and red berries with scents of provençal wild herbs. Generous on the palate with soft yet powerful tannins, and a long and spicy finish seasoned with black pepper.
Further information on En Primeur Rhône will be available soon. For more details please contact privatecellars@davy.co.uk.
