Product description
En Primeur Pagodes de Cos, Saint-Estèphe, will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
The brilliant second wine from Cos d’Estournel – Pagodes, gives real insight to the wines of its more famous sibling. Earlier drinking and more affordable, unmissable for fans of this glorious estate. The Chateau’s name comes from previous owner, Louis Gaspard d’Estournel, who inherited Cos in 1791 and introduced the wonderful and now famous Asian inspired Pagodes and architecture to the Chateau. Located on the southern border of St. Estephe, Cos d’Estournel’s vineyards border Ch. Lafite’s in Pauillac. On magnificent terroir, ‘the Hill of Cos’ is a perfectly situated south-facing gravel ridge with high clay content which St. Estephe is famous for.
