Product description
En Primeur Vosne Romanee Vieilles Vignes Michel Magnien will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
The Magnien family have been Burgundy wine growers for over a century. Having started with just 4 hectares of plots to sell to the négoces, Frédéric Magnien now runs an 18ha domaine that spreads all across the Côte de Nuits. Frédéric’s vision makes him an outstanding ambassador for Burgundy excellence and approach to terroir. Further to Frédéric’s hard work, the domaine acquired organic certification in 2008 and became entirely biodynamic in 2015. As of that year, Frédéric has introduced terracotta jars, which are aromatically neutral, allowing the domaine to craft exemplary wines that respect the purity of the fruit and characteristics of its soil in order to refine the identity of each wine. These are beautifully pure wines and we’re delighted to add them to our 2022 offer. Availability is limited across the range.
Blackberry aromas, dark and cool, with a restrained, elegant spicy note on the palate. Dark and peppery on the finish, with fine tannins. Impressive.
