Product description
Grapes from 45-year-old Grenache and Syrah vines on steep, chalk–marl slopes of Romane and Machotte, hand-harvested in early October with very low yields to ensure concentration Grapes undergo a 21-day fermentation in concrete tanks to extract the finest expression of each variety and reflect the family’s terroir. Traditional ageing follows in large foudres for 12 months. Aromas of black and red berries, Provençal herbs, and black pepper. The palate is structured yet refined, with smooth tannins and a long, spicy finish.
Sourced from vines averaging 45 years in age on limestone and marl soils, this blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah spotlights ripe but pristine mulberry and boysenberry flavors. It's a concentrated wine lifted by a chalky, salty mineral undertow, finishing on fine, supple tannins. Ready now, the wine should drink well through 2028.
