Founded in 1984, Tua Rita has become a successful producer of Super Tuscan wine and achieved international recognition. Giusto di Notri is their first wine ever made (in 1992) but also their signature wine with only 28,000 bottles produced each year. After spending 18 months in once used French oak barrel, the result is a stunning and opulent wine with deep dark fruits and great complexity.
“One of my favorite Tua Rita wines… The wine is exceedingly soft and opulent with gorgeous tones of black cherry, rum cake, crushed granite, cured meat, leather and exotic spice. This is a huge wine, in a resoundingly positive way that rewards a beautiful and intense drinking experience. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2028. ” – 94 pts Wine Advocate, August 2013.
