Product description
15-year-old organically farmed vines on clay and quartz-rich soils, 200 m above sea level and 10 km from the coast. High-trained cordon spur with 3,300 vines/ha. Grapes chilled overnight before pressing. Fermentation in wooden vats, followed by 10 months’ ageing; one-third in new barriques and two-thirds in older oak. Renewable energy used throughout. Intense aromas of red berry fruits with notes of balsamic and spices. Elegant on the palate with spicy flavours and good concentration of fruits and smooth tannins.
