Product description
Grapes are grown in 15-year-old vineyards located 200 metres above sea level in inland Maremma, just 10 km from the coast. The vines are trained with spurred cordon method, with a density of 4,000 vines/ha. Grapes are hand-harvested in small 20 kg boxes. The wine is crafted using the traditional method, with the Sangiovese grapes gently pressed for a 50% yield. Fermentation is conducted at low temperatures to preserve aromatic intensity and elegance. The wine matures on the lees for 36 months. Very fresh on the nose with hints of red berry fruit and yeast. The palate is delicate and crisp with mineral falvours and good acidity. Delicate and fresh.
