Owner Riccardo Lepri took over the estate after his grandfather Enos in 2001. Alongside winemaker Fabrizio Moltard, they selected the most suited grapes for the land. Following an organic approach they make delicate wines with concentrated flavours that started to generate interest amongst critics.
A delightful Tuscan dry sparkling white using the traditional method, from organically produced Sangiovese. For this cuvee Vini Montauto uses cold fermentation technique to enhance aromas and elegance alongside the traditional sparkling method to add complexity and body to the wine. Very fresh on the nose with hints of red berry fruit and yeast. The palate is delicate and crisp with mineral falvours and good acidity. Delicate and fresh, this is a refined fizz with a difference.
