Product description
Domaine de la Choupette was created in 1992 by the Gutrin brothers who own 12 hectares of vines across the village of Puligny, Chassagne Montrachet, Maranges and Santenay. Following sustainable practices they produce refined and fruit-forward wines.
Sous-le-Puits benefits from a south-easterly exposure and is situated at the top of a hill near a spring, hence its name meaning ‘Under the Well’. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Aromas of apple and citrus fruits with hints of almonds and minerals. Full-bodied with a buttery texture and a long finish.
