Product description
The vineyards are located on the hills of Montalcino, at varying elevations with sun exposure until sunset. The vines are over 23 years old, with an average altitude of 250 metres above sea level. Hand-harvested. Medium-long maceration on the skins with frequent pump-overs, maintaining the fermentation temperature at a maximum of 28°C. The wine is aged for 12 months in new Slavonian oak barrels, followed by at least 4 months of bottle ageing. Intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits with hints of oak and spices. Medium to full-bodied and round on the palate with velvety tannins.
