In 1949, Gioacchino Sini planted the first family vineyard with his 2 sons, Pietrino and Pasqualino, in his homeland Berchida; a beautiful and picturesque 7ha estate surrounded by hills covered with Mediterranean forest.
During the 1980’s, Gioacchini Sini Junior took over the Domaine and combined new technology and tradition in order to increase the quality of his wines. Experimenting with micro vinifications of individual parcels, he also looks for optimal techniques and conditions to obtain the best winemaking results.
