Product description
Grapes from old vines over 40 years old. The blend includes 12% Chardonnay from a vineyard planted in 2016, which is already producing very good quality and adds finesse and acidity to the wine. Fermented on its lees in new fine-grained Allier oak casks, and then aged in the same casks for 25 months. Bottled in March 2022, with a limited production of just 4,800 bottles. Elegant aromas of vanilla and pastries mingling with aromatic herbs, honey and dried apricots and hint of toasted oak. Rich mouth-feel, full of flavours and still young and fresh. Great length.
