Product description
This long established family Bodega lies in the best part of Rioja, on the limestone ridges of the Alavesa region. They only use fruit from their own vineyards and have rigorous standards in the cellars in order to create wines with elegance and pungency. Valserrano is gaining a reputation amongst Rioja’s best, receiving high score from renowned wine critics.
Fermented in new, fine-grained French oak casks and aged on its lees for 28 months. Elegant aromas of vanilla and pastries mingling with aromatic herbs, honey and dried apricots and hint of toasted oak. Rich mouth-feel, full of flavours and still young and fresh. Great length.
