Pelassa are swiftly gaining a reputation amongst Piedmont’s best, winning awards and generating interest around the world. Exclusive to Davy’s.
After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is matured in Slovanian and French wooden casks for 2 years and another 12 months in bottle. Complex nose with fresh crushed berries, violet and herbal notes. Velvety and rich on the palate with firm tannin and great length. A powerful wine.
Mineral nose with dried grapefruit and orange citrus on the nose. Firm tannins remind you of the Barolo identity, but there is nothing chewy here. Creamy and well-honed with a subtle cranberry and mineral note to the finish. Drink now or hold.
