Product description
This wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the Michet, Lampia, and Rosè varieties, grown at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level. Vinification follows the traditional Barolo method, with fermentation for 15-20 days at 26°C. De-stemmed and softly crushed, with délestage pump-overs to extract colour and aroma. Aged in Slavonian and French oak after malolactic fermentation, with regular top-ups and tastings to monitor development. Complex nose with fresh crushed berries, violets and herbal notes. Velvety and rich on the palate with firm tannins and great length.
Awards
Mineral nose with dried grapefruit and orange citrus on the nose. Firm tannins remind you of the Barolo identity, but there is nothing chewy here. Creamy and well-honed with a subtle cranberry and mineral note to the finish. Drink now or hold.
