Product description
Domaine de la Choupette was created in 1992 by the Gutrin brothers who own 12 hectares of vines across the village of Puligny, Chassagne, Maranges and Santenay. Following sustainable practices they produce refined and fruit-forward wines.
The lieu-dit ‘La Platière’ benefits from a southeast exposition. Only the best grapes are selected and go through a cold maceration to retain the essence of the fruits. Aged for up to 18 months in oak barrels (mix of new and one to 3 years old). Pure raspberry aromas on the nose with hints of toasty oak. Medium-bodied and ample on the palate with soft tannins.
