A splendid wine with an explosion of red and black fruit in jam, spices and pepper notes. Rich, deep and complex with a silky palate with refined and tight tannins, this Châteauneuf-du-Pape delivers the kind of quality you would expect from a much higher priced wine. The 2012 vintage has begun to mature elegantly and is drinking very well now.
French still red wine from South Rhone Valley France, made with Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah.
Domaine de Nalys is located in the east of the Appellation, surrounded by vines at slight altitude with a splendid view of Mont Ventoux and the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. All of the Appellation´s thirteen permitted grape varieties are represented in the vineyard in order to allow them to bring greater complexity and balance to their wine.
The 50ha estate are grouped together into three plots: “Nalys” or the parcel circling the estate, “Le Bois Sénéchal” and “La Crau”.
